Christian Jacobs
Phantom of the Choppera, Nestor, Calchas
Christian is a recent graduate of the New School for Drama MFA Acting program. He is very excited to be in his second season with the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival. He could be seen in the '08 season, as Guiderius in Cymbeline, and in the ensemble of Twelfth Night. Christian received his undergraduate degree in New Media from SUNY Purchase, where he wrote, directed, and starred in his original mixed-media musical comedy, Johnny Giovanni: The Musical. His NSD credits include: Richard of Gloucester in Richard III, Darren in The Drowned World, Claudius in Hamlet, and Keith Burgess in Stage Door. Recent NYC credits include Todd in Far Away,Benny in Crazy Eights, and Gene in Author's Voice. He loves to play his ukulele and watch Lost. Christian would like to thank his Mom, Dad, and big bro for...everything.
