Christopher Joshua McCardle, born a Virginian and raised in New York, has been in entertainment since the age of 2, when he was a part of the seminal Southern Appalachian Clog Dancing Troupe the Green Grass Cloggers.  McCardle continued to step-dance as part of his father's acoustic ensemble, Walt Michael & Co, starting in the eighties. He began theater work early, playing many parts while enrolled at Haldane Central School, in Cold Spring, NY. Later he played roles for the Depot Theatre in Garrison, and studied theater while at McDaniel College, near Baltimore, MD.  His TV work includes production elements for Chappelle's Show and Bam Margera. He has been a featured actor and associate producer in various movies, including the Swiss foreign feature film The Last Blast. At the turn of the century he was the road manager for Grammy nominated folk singer John McCutcheon. McCardle received his first set of turntables from a friend in his teens. He is a multi-instrument musician and producer with an extensive song list and record collection. This is his first appearance with HVSF.
