Community Outreach and Audience Enrichment Programs

We strive to provide opportunities for our audience and community to explore their connection to the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival through discussions, lectures and workshops that help to make the theatrical experience accessible to everyone. Join artistic staff, teachers and scholars in enlightening lectures and interactive workshops that focus on the artistic process and background information for the season’s plays.

“Family Night” Workshops

These pre-performance workshops expose families to Shakespeare through participatory theater games and improvisation that enables them to become better acquainted with the play they are about to see.
