An Evening with Edgar Allan Poe

Conceived and directed by Terrence O'Brien.

Edgar Allan Poe was an American author, poet, editor, and literary critic, considered part of the American Romantic Movement.

Best known for his tales of mystery and the macabre, Poe was one of the earliest American practitioners of the short story, and is considered the inventor of the detective fiction genre.

Poe revisits the Hudson Valley this Halloween season to read excerpts from his spine-chilling tales, and answer questions about his life, in the elegant house at Boscobel House and Gardens. A wine and cheese reception will follow.

What better way to celebrate the chill of autumn and Halloween than with Mr. Poe? Jason O'Connell take on the role for HVSF. Do join him!
