Stephen returns for his twelfth season with the Festival, having just completed a twenty-week run with The Shakespeare Theatre in Washington, D.C., in their “Leadership Repertory,” performing Fluellen in Henry V and Lord Ross in Richard II. Favorite roles here at HVSF include last season's Pericles (the eldest) as well as Shylock, Prospero, Titus Andronicus, Angelo, Banquo, Malvolio, Parolles, and Dogberry. From 2003 to 2008 he appeared as Lt. Schrank in two different world tours of West Side Story. Other U.S. regional stage credits include: Good with William Hurt (American Conservatory Theater, San Francisco, CA); A Skull in Connemara (DenverCenter Theatre Company); The Comedy of Errors (Oregon Shakespeare Festival); Art (CapitalRepertory Theatre, Albany, N.Y.); The Royal Family, Julius Caesar, The Sisters Rosenzweig, and Black Coffee (Asolo Repertory Theatre, Sarasota, FL); The Taming of the Shrew and Diva (Delaware TheatreCompany, Wilmington); and The Taming of the Shrew (Pioneer Theatre Company, Salt Lake City, UT);as well as six years as artist-in-residence at the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts, SantaMaria, CA.  Television appearances include Law & Order and Law & Order: SVU.
