Assistant Company Manager (Posted January 4, 2018)

The ACM will support the Company Manager in arranging housing, transportation, hospitality (including tech catering, various company parties and events), financial and contract files, and house seats- everything to make our seasonal staff feel at home in the Hudson Valley. Great candidates must be organized and resourceful, with fantastic communication skills. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of theatrical and/or event management experience, and are knowledgeable in Excel, Google applications, and AEA contracts, especially LORT. Seasonal Front-of-House Staff Positions (Applications Due January 31, 2018)

The Festival's artistic home, an open-air Theater Tent overlooking the Hudson River, is a place where all are welcome to experience effervescent theater in a warm, approachable environment. Front-of-House staff members are often the first point of contact for new and returning audience members and must be comfortable assisting individuals from all backgrounds. We currently seek energetic, driven candidates for a variety of seasonal Front-of-House staff positions for the 2018 Summer Season:

  • Assistant Managers: House (x3), Concessions (x2), and Box Office (x1)
  • Box Office Support Staff
  • Concessions Support Staff
  • Venue Support Staff
  • Greeting/Informational Services Staff

Appropriate candidates may have a variety of work experiences, but 1-2 years of prior customer service/public-facing employment are required, and a passion for theater/the performing arts is preferred. Candidates must be willing to commit a minimum of 15 hours per week - including late nights and weekends - through the entirety of the Summer Season (June 7 - September 3). Apply Here >

HVSF Production Interns will be offered the opportunity to sharpen their skills through direct collaboration with department heads and staff. An indispensable part of this nationally recognized theater, the HVSF Intern Company is the next generation of theater professionals.
