With the 2019 Summer Season right around the corner, we want to share some exciting changes to HVSF’s policies and pricing. We hope these adjustments will help simplify your summer planning and keep the experience of attending a show at the Theater Tent as relaxing as it should be!
Key Updates
- Simple Pricing. Period. Starting this season, we’ve totally eliminated facilities fees, transaction fees, and credit card fees. The price you see is the price you pay–it’s that simple! Explore pricing.
- [NEW] Exchange Policy. We heard you! Life is unpredictable (not unlike outdoor theater…) and you want the flexibility to exchange your dates when your calendar goes slightly off the rails. Starting this season, exchange any ticket up to one week before showtime for just $10. For members of our Saints & Poets Society and Festival Circles Program, exchanges are totally free!
- Changes Inside the Theater. It’s been a while since we’ve reviewed each of the 540 seats under our Theater Tent. In 2019, you may notice a few differences in how specific seats are priced, making our seating chart more balanced and equitable.
- $10 Tickets Every Night. Starting this season, Obstructed View seats are $10 every night.
In order to maintain affordable pricing for the widest possible audience, we’ve also adjusted the way that our most expensive seats are priced and discounted. This summer, Standard Discounts in the Center-Front section have been eliminated to ensure seating throughout the rest of the theater remains equitably priced for all audiences. We are grateful for your flexibility and understanding. Explore all discounts.

- Accessibility for Everyone. We’re working on some exciting updates for those with hearing impairments, and accommodations for those with sensory processing differences. We hope to announce them in the coming weeks!
