The Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival is a professional theater company and abides by Actors' Equity Association rules, which require that a minimum 24 hours’ notice be given for interview and photo / recording requests. We suggest 48-72 hours’ notice in order to accommodate scheduling of interviews.
Along with reviews of the productions we are happy to work with you on feature/production story coverage during the season, with artists’ agreement.
As they are provided to us, we provide promotional photos and biographies for the artists participating in the HVSF season. We will also provide production photographs to the media for each of our productions. Media outlets interested in assigning their own photography should inquire as far in advance as possible (in keeping with Equity guidelines, a minimum of 24 hours notice is required).
Media outlets may request two complimentary tickets for each of this season’s productions, subject to availability. To ensure your attendance on a particular performance date, we ask that media outlets reserve complimentary press tickets at least two days in advance of the performance, though we will make our best effort to accomodate requests on shorter notice. Once confirmed, complimentary press tickets will be available for pickup on the evening of the performance at HVSF's on-site Box Office at Boscobel House and Gardens.
