1,101 Cadets. 17 Teaching Artists. One Day at West Point.

The HVSF team has a full plate even during the offseason — we travel throughout the Hudson Valley, bringing Shakespeare into classrooms. Last week, 17 of our Teaching Artists visited the United States Military Academy at West Point for our annual workshop with the Cadets.

Every year, the English & Philosophy Department at West Point tasks first-year cadets with memorizing a Shakespeare monologue.
