Ronald Sopyla last appeared with HVS as a storyteller, telling the story of Medea and Jason as a prologue to performances of Medea Reversed. Prior to that he was in the tent for The General from America and Our Town. He's also gotten himself covered with glue and colored tissue paper as part of the Highland Lights lantern projects.He spent several seasons with the Alabama and Oregon Shakespeare Festivals, and toured the country with the first national tour of Amadeus. Working on his own, he has performed as a storyteller and puppeteer in schools, libraries and festivals throughout the Northeast. He currently mentors new theater teachers for a joint project with the NYCDOE and The Arthur Miller Foundation. He is thrilled to be included in this first season in the new theater.
