Why Visit
Hudson Valley Shakespeare (HVS) is a must-visit cultural destination for FITs and Groups. Rooted in a breathtaking 98-acre campus and renowned for its excellence in producing a rotating season of Shakespeare and more contemporary plays and musicals in an open-air theater overlooking the Hudson River.
The new theater offers a striking indoor–outdoor experience that combines remarkable intimacy (audiences sit just steps from the stage) with an epic sense of natural scale. With picnic lawns, wildflower gardens, walking trails, and an on-site restaurant overlooking the river, the expanded campus is a destination for theater lovers, families, students, and Hudson Valley visitors alike.
HVS is conveniently located in Garrison, New York, only 80 minutes north of Manhattan, in an area celebrated for its beautiful hiking trails, historic sites, art and cultural experiences, and quaint restaurants.
Groups
All Groups must have an appointed primary contact with whom HVS can correspond with.
We can work with groups in the following ways:
Group Invoice: The Group Leader reserves a block of tickets through HVS and receives an invoice. A single payment source is used for the deposit and full balance.
Payment: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at booking to hold seats. Full payment is due 14 days before the performance. All group sales are final.
Seat Release: Reservations may be released if the deposit is not received within 14 days of invoicing.
Late Bookings: For reservations made within 14 days of the performance, full payment is due at the time of booking.
Promo Codes: The Group Leader works with HVS to set a group rate and receives a promo code to share with attendees. Individuals book and pay separately, with seats assigned together.
Discounts: Group rates are available for parties of 12+ attending one performance. Discounts apply to regular ticket prices, are subject to availability and limited to Tier 2 & 3 seating only.

Seat Release: Any seats within the block of tickets held for the group will be released 14 days before the performance.
FITS & DMCs
Pair your performance tickets with a pre- or post-show meal at our on-site restaurant, FOLIO, or pre-order picnic to be enjoyed on the grounds. HVS has ample tour bus and RV parking. For your convenience, food and drink packages are available for groups up to 200. Larger event spaces may accommodate up to 200 guests, subject to availability. Additional information can be provided upon request.

Our Theater
Designed by the renowned architecture and urban design practice Studio Gang, the 14,850-square-foot venue is protected from the elements yet open to the landscape, accommodating a performance season from June through September.
