GRAND OPENING 2026 SEASON
Hudson Valley Shakespeare are delighted to announce the inaugural season in the Samuel H. Scripps Theater Center.
The first season in its new, permanent theater space, the Samuel H. Scripps Theater Center. The season, featuring a repertory run of two revered Shakespeare plays and one beloved musical in a new production, will run June 10 – September 27, 2026.
From Thornton Wilder’s timeless tale of love and adventure, The Matchmaker, and the riotous chaos of The Comedy of Errors, to Dave Malloy’s spellbinding a cappella song cycle, Octet, our school tour of Julius Caesar, plus our intimate cabaret series—this summer was one for the books. We laughed heartily, we felt deeply, and together we shared stories and created memories that will stay with us for many years to come.
