Folio is all about celebrating the Hudson Valley: its farms, its flavors, and those absolutely unbeatable mountain views. Open only during Shakespeare’s summer season, it’s a farm-to-table, fresh-and-seasonal spot where dinner feels less like a meal and more like a shared moment.
Grab a seat on the deck and take in sweeping views of the Hudson Highlands. A server will swing by for drinks, and then you’re free to wander through our beautiful self-serve spread featuring regionally sourced ingredients—colorful salads, flavorful proteins, hearty sides, and mouth-watering desserts—made to enjoy at your own pace.
Every plate, sip, and view is a wee love letter to this place we all get to share.

Mondays/Tuesdays
FOLIO is closed. Pre-order picnics are available.
Wednesday-Saturday
Open for dinner from 5 pm to showtime.
Sunday
Open for Pizza Night after the 5 pm performance.
Advanced reservations are encouraged, but walk-ins are available, subject to availability.
Sunday Night Encores
On Sundays, picnics are available, but Folio is closed before the 5:00 pm show. Instead, join us after the performance; we’ve got something just as delicious waiting for you.
Keep the night buzzing with a self-serve spread of fresh pizzas, pastas, salads, and desserts. It’s an evening where Italian tradition meets the flavors of our local bounty, all crafted for easy grazing and good company. Seating is open, so settle in wherever you like, mix and mingle, and don’t be surprised if you spot a few favorite HVS performers unwinding at the bar.

Simplify your pre-show dining plans by letting us take the stress out of the prep. Our To-Go Picnic menu is packed with fresh sandwiches, salads, and sides ready to grab, go, and enjoy. Pick your favorite spot on the lawn and spread out, or make things extra easy by reserving one of our rentable picnic blankets

Bringing Your Own Picnic
As always, you’re welcome to bring your own picnic to enjoy on our grounds. Feel free to bring blankets, portable camp chairs, coolers, and anything else that makes your picnic perfectly comfortable. (And if you forget a blanket, we have plenty available to rent.)
Onsite Concessions
