Heidi Ettinger is a graduate of Occidental College and the Yale School of Drama who has worked in New York City as a theatrical set designer and producer for many years. Designs include Big River and Secret Garden (Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics awards), which she produced as well. She has designed Shakespeare recently at the Public Theatre (King Lear) and at the Stratford Festival in Canada (Romeo and Juliet). She serves on the boards of the Municipal Arts Society and the Educational Foundation of America, and is married to the playwright Jonathan Reynolds.
