Sarena Straus is a writer and attorney. She specializes in work as an outside general counsel with a focus on supporting small to mid-sized companies and startups. Sarena has written numerous legal articles and lectured widely on myriad legal topics. She is the author of “Bronx DA: True Stories from the Sex Crimes and Domestic Violence Unit” (Barricade, 2006), and is currently writing adult literary and science fiction. She received her BA in Art History from Barnard College and her Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law. For the past fifteen years, Ms. Straus has also served on the Board of Directors at the Hudson Valley Museum of Contemporary Art in Peekskill, New York. She lives in Garrison, NY with her husband and two children who attend the Manitou School in Cold Spring, NY and the Masters School in Dobbs Ferry, NY. They have a dog and two barn cats.
