Summer is the perfect time to spend with family. Since I joined the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival last year, I have loved hearing from so many of you that performances under the tent are part of your favorite summer family traditions. Today, it’s my honor and privilege to extend a heartfelt offer and enthusiastic invitation to join me under the tent with your family this season, to celebrate those traditions and build new ones.
We are thrilled to announce the extension of our $10 Family Night discount, for the rest of our 2023 season! This special offer applies to any night and any section, for theatergoers aged 18 and younger, accompanied by an adult.
We were inspired to extend this offer after hearing recently from an audience member and parent, who shared the following with us:

At HVSF, we love seeing young faces under the Tent, lit up with awe and wonder as they discover the magic of live performance, and we’d like to share that experience with every kid in the Hudson Valley. Theater has always been more than entertainment; it’s a doorway to a realm where emotions run deep, where we can laugh together, cry together, and share the beauty of the human experience.

Children and Students (18 and under) will receive $10 tickets for the remainder of the 2023 season. This discount is applied by ticket type at check-out. You must show proof of age at our box office table and will receive a wristband.
HENRY V does deal with themes of war. While the production features battle scenes, they are not graphic. LOVE’S LABOR’S LOST does make reference to sex, and a minor plot point involves an unmarried couple navigating a pregnancy. Although every family’s tolerance for grown-up themes is different, we believe this production is appropriate for older children. Little ones under 5 are not permitted under the tent.
