Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival performs at historic Boscobel House and Gardens, 1601 Route 9D, Garrison, NY, one hour north of New York City, eight miles north of the Bear Mountain Bridge, and one mile south of the village of Cold Spring, NY.
Our summer productions are staged under a beautifully designed, all-weather, open-air Theater Tent which seats 540 nearly in-the-round. The backdrop to each of our summer performances are magnificent, dramatic views of the Hudson Highlands.
Boscobel grounds are open to HVSF audience members starting two hours before showtime, with picnicking open from two hours before to a half hour before showtime.
When you arrive, the HVSF Cafe will be open for last-minute picnic needs, and you can store your gear there before showtime. Be sure to build 15 minutes into your arrival for parking, ticket pick-up, and seating:
- If my performance is at 7:30pm… I can arrive as early as 5:30pm.
- If my matinee performance is at 2:00pm… I can arrive as early as 12:00pm.
- If my September evening performance is at 7:00pm… I can arrive as early as 5:00pm.
