Originally from Edinburgh, Scotland, Kirsty Gaukel has lived in the Hudson Valley for five years. She has more than 20 years of professional experience working in the performing arts as a creative producer and marketing and communications professional. Most recently, Kirsty worked with the Hudson River Maritime Museum in Kingston, NY, and served as the Executive and Programming Director at the Denizen Theatre in New Paltz. Kirsty has extensive experience in the theatre space, having previously worked as the Director of Marketing for 59E59 Theaters in NYC, as the Associate Director of Communications for Actors Theatre of Louisville in Kentucky, and in various pr and marketing roles in her native Scotland for myriad of companies including Tron Theatre and Edinburgh International Festival. When not attending arts and cultural events you’ll find her on a trail with her two rescue dogs, Dougal and Effie, or dabbling in her other passions Reiki and Crystal Healing.
