James Stanford is a Founder and Managing Director of Fitzroy Health, a New York-based company that builds new tech-enabled health care businesses and is also Executive-in-Residence in the Innovation Department at the Mass General Brigham health system in Boston. He sits on the boards of for-profit companies Salute Safety, DosedDaily, and Care Values, as well as the not-for-profit Dave Nee Foundation, which is dedicated to improving student mental health. Prior to Fitzroy, James was a management consultant in the Health Care practice at McKinsey & Company, and a Director at The Advisory Board Academies in Washington, D.C. He was also the founder of Folkestone Productions, producing documentaries for public television, universities, and major foundations, as well as advertising for Fortune 100 corporations. He holds an AB from Princeton University, where he majored in English with a concentration in Theater, and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
