Lauri Washington Sawyer is an attorney with Jones Day in New York City, with a focus on the litigation of financial products, derivatives and international disputes. Prior to joining Jones Day, Lauri was an attorney with another prominent New York law firm and served as law clerk to the Honorable Robert G. Doumar in the Eastern District of New York and the Honorable Anthony A. Alaimo in the Southern District of Georgia. She received her JD from Mercer University, her Master’s in International Studies from the University of Washington and her BA from the University of Denver. She lives in Garrison and enjoys every day in the Hudson Valley with her daughter.
