Mary Elizabeth Bunzel is a former journalist who worked for newspapers and magazines around the world including The Los Angeles Times, The Boston Globe, The St. Louis Post-Dispatch, The Daily Telegraph in London and Town and Country. She received her MFA in Poetry from Sarah Lawrence College in 2001 and now focuses on writing poetry. Her poems have appeared most recently in The Southampton Review and Poetry Quarterly. She currently serves as co-chair of the Board of Trustees of The Kenyon Review and is a Chancellor of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, where she served as a director and member of the Executive Committee for six years. Mary Elizabeth and her husband Jeff have four children and live in Manhattan and Garrison, New York.
