What will each ticket cost with my group’s discount?
Groups of 12-24 receive 15% off and Groups of 25+ receive 20% off our standard ticket pricing all season long (excluding Saturdays, Openings, Closings, and Center-Front seating). Ticket pricing varies by night, section, and type of show, and is detailed in the matrix below.
Groups of 12-24: To calculate, multiply the price of your ticket of choice (i.e. a Side Section Full View seat for a Friday Preview, which costs $50) by .85 (a discount of 15%). In this example, your group rate per ticket will be $42.50. Note that Center-Front seating will not be discounted.
Groups of 25+: To calculate, multiply the price of your ticket of choice (i.e. a Side Section Full View seat for a Friday Preview, which costs $50) by .80 (a discount of 20%). In this example, your group rate per ticket will be $40.00. Note that Center-Front seating will not be discounted.
*Partial-View Seating: A tent element may occasionally impact viewing.
** Obstructed-View Seating: A tent element, such as a tent pole or set piece, will obstruct viewing.
What’s required to book?
You can book a group online at any time by choosing your date from our calendar. Group discounts (as detailed above) will automatically apply at checkout. We no longer accept partial deposits, so if you are looking to book by phone (845.265.9575) or email (boxoffice@hvshakespeare.org), please note that your full balance is due when you reserve. We appreciate your flexibility.
Is there parking on-site?
Yes, ample free parking is available on-site, directly to the right as you enter the gates at Boscobel House and Gardens.
What about round-trip transportation?
We are happy to schedule round-trip transportation on your group’s behalf for an additional charge. HVSF contracts with a professional, local charter bus company to create a seamless door-to-door ride for your guests. Costs vary depending on your group’s size and pick-up location.
There are seniors in our group. Should we book Senior tickets?
For Group Discounts to apply appropriately, you must book Adult tickets.
Will there be fees associated with our order?
We’ve recently updated our policies to eliminate all transaction, facilities, and processing fees. So, the price you see is the price you’ll pay.
How much do customized packages cost?
Add-ons such as a catered dinner, reserved picnic area, or round-trip transportation are available for an additional charge. We are happy to discuss these costs with you by phone (845.265.9575) to ensure you’re building the right package for your group.
Is your site accessible for guests with mobility issues or accessibility needs?
Yes! You can learn more about our offerings for patrons with accessibility needs here. Please alert us if a member of your group requires wheelchair-accessible seating at the time of booking.
How early can we arrive?
Your group may arrive as early as two hours before showtime (5:30pm for a 7:30pm performance) to get settled, picnic, enjoy the grounds, or take in a pre-show event. The HVSF Café is open for last-minute picnic needs, and you can store your picnic gear there before showtime. Large groups should build at least 25 minutes into their arrival for parking, ticket pick-up, and seating. If you’ve built a customized package, be sure to ask the Box Office for direction when you arrive.
Do you offer seating under the Theater Tent?
Yes! Seating under the Theater Tent is assigned and staff members will be available to guide you to your seats. You will not need to bring your own chairs for the performance.
Do you offer formal picnic seating?
Formal seating is not available for pre-show picnicking. Your group may be permitted to use Boscobel House and Gardens’ covered Reception Tent (a few paces from the HVSF Box Office) if open and available, but this option is not guaranteed. Use of the Reception Tent may require an additional charge. We recommend that all groups encourage their members to bring blankets/folding chairs for pre-show picnicking on the Great Lawn. This gear may be stored at the HVSF Café during the performance.
Do you offer exchanges or refunds if my group-mates change their mind?
Starting this season, you may exchange any ticket up to one week before showtime for just $10 per ticket (and any additional seat value). We do not offer refunds.
